Company Profile| Design International was established in June 1984 by Paul Gradwell, an electronics graduate. The company started life as a Design and Development Company for the production of electronic prototypes and small production runs. In 1990 the company started to design and manufacture the Vidicom System, along with football ground Gate Control hardware. The company relocated to North Wales in 2006 shortly after appointing John Owen as the new Managing Director.
Over the past 6 years Design International has moved up from supplying single assemblies for security systems to supplying complete integrated solutions using modern technology for improved performance, simple installation and lower cost. Design International is a growing company with a long track record of producing high quality reliable security products. In house we have the expertise to design electronic circuits and PCBs, produce mechanical drawings, write low level firmware for microcontrollers, design high level windows applications and databases and manufacture and test small to medium production runs. One of the key features of the Company is its well established network of suppliers who provide all our metalwork, PCB production, surface mount assembly providing the flexibility needed to keep costs down and to expand when needed to meet increasing product demand.
